Cost Reduction Opportunities

We have a Telecom Broker - One-Stop-Telecom-Shop. How can you help us?
They get paid commissions from their vendors and suppliers, and we don’t – We are completely vendor neutral.
We look at all suppliers, whereas a Broker usually considers only those paying them commissions.
We continue to optimize your costs throughout our relationship with our clients, while that’s contradictory to the Broker’s interests.
I just signed a 3-year contract with AT&T, how will you be able to help me?
Over 50% of our clients are in a contract
There may still be billing errors
You may be paying for features you don’t use or need
Other suppliers may offer a buy out
Sometimes contracts are not as binding as you may think
We can review other areas of telecom that are not under contract
I have heard of AT&T, Verizon and Sprint, but I have not heard of Strategic Cost Reduction and Schooley Mitchell. How do I know you know what you’re doing?
We are the largest independent Telecom Consulting group in North America in terms of geographic coverage and technology coverage.
We have many diverse backgrounds and vertical market specialists at SMTC, which allows us to deliver maximum value to our clients
We have access to hundreds of years of combined experience and over 140 telecom specialists in 65 offices throughout the US and Canada.
We bring business and technology experience that can recognize your specific needs and challenges
How are you different from a bill auditor or Telecom Management Systems vendor?
Bill auditors generally do not offer a broad range of telecommunications services, one reason being that they typically do not have telecom expertise.
They don’t consult, don’t optimize business needs, and don’t offer fee-based services. Their focus is on auditing of bills and finding errors, regardless of which industry the client is in or the type of bill in question.
If their analysis results in a client making changes to their telecom provider, auditors are not likely to be involved in project management through the implementation process. SMTC handles implementation as part of our services.
If they offer software that is positioned to keep your telecom expenditures at a minimum, it means that their solutions are not tailor-made to each client, but rather they’re just trying to make a sale.
